Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Through our ecosystem product, we provide our clients with the ability to curate their customer and employee journeys, their way. Our partnerships with “AnyTechs” empower businesses to leverage new and existing technology partners effortlessly.

Working in collaboration with the team, and reporting to one of the co-founders, your role is to help us find those perfect clients through a mix of phone calls, emails, and social media engagement. You will:

  • Play a critical role in opening new territories on behalf of the Root team
  • Join a team where your voice is heard, and your contributions are recognized and rewarded

  • You are familiar with, or have put into practice, a consultative sales methodology
  • You embrace the value of tracking activity in a CRM system and love to interpret the data

Who you are and what you’ll be doing:

You are an exceptional and polished sales development representative (SDR) or account executive with demonstrated excitement about Root. We will teach you about our company story, vision, and mission along with details of the technical product line.

  • You have experience selling technology to senior decision makers across North America
  • You possess a high degree of resilience and understand that with each NO, you’re one step closer to a YES
  • You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • You’re comfortable conducting business and meetings remotely via video conference
  • You reside in Canada with either Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency status
  • You will uncover, qualify, and gain commitment with a client audience excited to join the Root family
